An H bridge is an electronic circuit that enables a voltage to be applied across a load in either direction. Usually H bridges are used to drive DC motors in both directions. Elint Labz has built a H bridge breakout by making use of low power transistors and diodes, to drive low power DC motors. This breakout can be mounted anywhere using screws.
The H-bridge arrangement is generally used to reverse the polarity of the motor, but can also be used to ‘brake’ the motor, where the motor comes to a sudden stop,These circuits are often used in robotics and other applications to allow DC motors to run forwards or backwards.
It has two 2 pin screw terminal ports out of which one port is named as ‘Drive supply’ and the other two ports are named as ‘Load ‘. Drive supply port is connected with power source which is required to drive the motor. Load port can be connected to DC motor.
It has interfacing port with 3 pins names as G, D1 and D2.Here G represents Ground, D1 and D2 represents Data pins. D1 and D2 controls the DC motor at load.
